This was probably the first or second times that I have read even part of the Facebook Privacy Terms and Google Privacy Terms. I say even part of because when I first read them I did not read them all the way. I realized that I never read much of the Privacy Policy of anything on the Internet. I usually read the bold parts and sometimes I will skim some of the sentences. I probably should read them more than I do, but I think I have a false sense of security. I did not read the Privacy Terms when Facebook and Google had on their websites that there was something different about each. I ignored them and forgot about them. Although I do not look at Privacy Terms, I am usually have only specific things on Facebook. My email address is not even able to be looked at by my friends.
I think, as I said, I have a false sense of security that I like. I know that it is not real, but I like having the false sense. This, although a little different reminds me of when the school had identifying things such as social security numbers taken off online. It makes me wonder if that I also have again a false sense of security that I will not have to deal with that again, although I had more of a false sense of security before it happened.
