Think Piece-Week 9

I think the most interesting part of the article, “What Is Web 2.0: Design Patterns and Business Models for the Next Generation of Software” is that I did not think of a Web 2.0 or Web 1.0. I know some things, for instance Netscape, I have not seen since elementary school and/or before elementary school; however, I thought of them as things we did not go on on the Internet anymore, or that are not on the Internet anymore. I do not understand a lot about Internet technology, but I do know that 2.0 and 1.0 are not the same in terms of Internet technology.

The other thing that was interesting in the article is that Tim O’Reilly wrote about blogs. When I was in middle school, I like blogs, and then I thought they weren’t used often when I was in high school. Now, I see them more often, or at least, as also mentioned, “opinion columns.” And, this is the first blog I have used since my freshman year of college.

Another thing that was a very little bit interesting is that out of the websites written in the article, I know of more 2.0 websites than 1.0 websites, but I do know some of the 1.0 websites.
